Charter
The ISCT Global Government and Public Relations Committee serves the membership and others working in cellular therapy by providing information concerning political and regulatory activities, including new legislation and regulatory guidelines that affect strategic aspects of regenerative medicine including cell-based therapies.
Projects and Objectives
- Establish an active/pro-active structured approach to following relevant legislative and regulatory actions that impact the field of cell and gene therapy worldwide.
- Forge and maintain links with relevant legislators
- Participate in relevant legislative/regulatory activities and meetings
- Craft and disseminate opinion, position and/or advisory statements on relevant issues
- Monitor relevant legislation
- Monitor and develop responses to requests for information from the NIH, FDA, EMA, TGA, CFDA and other relevant governmental and regulatory entities globally
- Communicate Society actions, opinion(s) and position(s) to the ISCT membership through timely Society communiques, relevant articles and summaries in the Telegraft and Cytotherapy as well as at international and regional meetings
