ISCT Awards

Young Investigator Award

The Young Investigator Awards are presented to encourage young investigators to submit abstracts for consideration at the ISCT Annual Meeting. There are three Awards of $1,000 USD presented at each Annual Meeting based on the highest scoring abstracts.

Eligibility Requirements
A young investigator is classified as a student, resident, or fellow who received their PhD in the last 7 years. The recipient must be an ISCT member.

Technologist Award

The Technologist Awards are presented to enable technologists to receive funding opportunities to attend ISCT Annual Meetings. There are three Awards of $1,000 USD presented at each Annual Meeting based on the highest scoring abstracts. 

Eligibility Requirements  
Eligibility for the Technologist Award requires the presenter to hold a technical designation (e.g. MLS(ASCP) or equivalent). Technologist award recipients are employed in technical laboratory settings. The recipient must be an ISCT member.

Career Achievement Award in Cellular Therapy 

The Career Achievement Award in Cellular Therapy is awarded to an individual who has made a significant impact during a career devoted to advancing the field of cellular therapy, through a longstanding service in one of the Society's Three Pillars of Value: Academia, Regulatory/Quality Operations, and Commercialization. 

Inaugural Recipient (2016): Darwin Prockop, MD, PhD 

Best Oral Abstract Award

One Best Oral Abstract Award will be selected and awarded a prize of $1500 USD at each ISCT Annual Meeting.

Best Poster Abstract Award

One Best Poster Abstract Award will be selected and awarded a prize of $1500 USD at each ISCT Annual Meeting.
