STEM CELL CONFERENCE – July 24-27, 2017:  The University of Vermont Larner College of Medicine is pleased to present our biannual international workshop “Stem Cells, Cellular Therapies, and Bioengineering in Lung Biology and Diseases”, to be held at the University of Vermont campus in Burlington, Vermont. The goal of the conference is to provide a comprehensive overview with focus towards how advances in stem cell, cell therapy, and lung bioengineering research can be applied to lung biology and diseases.


TRAVEL AWARDS will be selected based on poster abstracts submitted by the May 1, 2017 deadline. The top 8 abstracts will be selected for presentation in 20-minute time slots during the conference.  These awards will be selected through blinded review by the awards committee. Two of these Travel Awards will be sponsored by the European Respiratory Society (ERS) and are limited to ERS members. An additional oral presentation award will be specifically presented to a woman, under-represented minority individual, or researcher with disabilities. Both the diversity award and oral presentation awards will include payment or reimbursement of the registration fee, lodging for the duration of the conference and coach rate travel.
