New Cellular Therapy Terminology
New terminology for cellular therapy has been approved and incorporated into the following ISBT 128 documents:
- ISBT 128 Terminology for Blood, Cellular Therapy, and Tissue Product Descriptions
- ISBT 128 Standard Labeling of Cellular Therapy Products
- Implementation Guide: Revised Cellular Therapy Terminology (new)
- Implementation Guide: Use of Product Code [Data Structure 003] - Cellular Therapy

Product Description Code Database v4.26.0
Version 4.26.0 of the ISBT 128 Product Description Code Database is now available to licensed facilities. This version includes the new cellular therapy product codes.
All database updates are listed in the version control sheet.The new
database can be downloaded as a Microsoft Access database or as Text
New product codes for cellular therapy, blood, ocular
tissue, reproductive tissue, milk banking, organs, and tissues can be
requested via their respective request forms found on the ICCBBA
website. You must be logged in to view the request forms.

Standard Terminology v4.26
The Standard Terminology document is given a new version
each time there is a change to the Class or Attribute tables of the
ISBT 128 Product Description Code Database. This important document is
often overlooked and contains the formal definitions of all classes,
modifiers, and attributes used in the database.The default values for
each attribute group are also specified in here. This information is
extremely helpful when requesting or searching for a specific product in
Section 3 includes the new cellular therapy terminology
and section 10 has been updated to include the retired cellular therapy

- The draft document is now available for public comment.
Cellular Therapy Patient Advisory
ICCBBA along with several Professional Cellular Therapy
