International Scope
ISCT is a global forum of leading cell therapy experts from 40 countries who drive educational and regulatory activities across all continents.
Leadership
ISCT's Executive Committee and Advisory Board is comprised of world-class scientists, clinicians, technologists, industry and regulatory professionals from across the globe.
Translational Focus
ISCT is the principal cell therapy society and the only group focused on pre-clinial and translational aspects of developing cell therapy products. As such, ISCT helps the academic, government and biotech/pharma sectors transform research into practice and product.
Education and Training
ISCT supports cell therapy education and training for lab techs, MDs, PhDs, and all others in the field. Our regional, national and international meetings, along with our publications and webinars provide educational materials and presentations on the most current issues in the field.
Working with Regulators
ISCT represents its membership in driving and informing the development of national and international regulatory environments. This mandate is supported by active Regulatory Affairs committees in North America, Europe and Asia. In the USA, ISCT leads key meetings to ensure information exchange with regulatory bodies and works closely with the FDA to represent members' issues and positions.
Working with Industry
Commercial entities bear much of the responsibility for translating cell therapy research into clinical products. The ISCT Industry Task Force aims to address questions related to the commercialization of cell therapies, maintain an ''industry stakeholder network'' that will function as a focus group for ISCT to allow business-to-business networking within the sector, and identify issues relating to the growth of the cell therapy market.
