Regional Meetings for Technologists
In response to increasing calls for smaller, regionalized meetings geared towards laboratory practitioners and technicians working in cell therapy laboratories, ISCT launched its first North America Regional Meeting in November 2007. These 2-3 day meetings aimed to provide an overview of the biology of cellular therapy and to provide education on cell processing laboratory procedures and issues. It also served as an excellent opportunity for participants to share their experiences and to network with colleagues.
Since the last meeting in North Carolina, ISCT has started to incorporate topics from these regional meetings into a Technical Applications Track at the larger Annual Meeting in May of each year. To learn more about the Applications Track, CLICK HERE.
