Submission Deadline

The deadline for submissions has now passed.  Results of the review process will be sent via email in mid-March.

Guidelines

The abstract body cannot exceed 300 words, exclusive of the title, author block, images and tables.

ISCT may reject abstracts that are considered inappropriate for any reason. Abstracts, once submitted, cannot be withdrawn from publication.

Abstracts must be submitted via the online Abstract Submission System. Abstracts will NOT be accepted by email, mail, or fax.

Abstract presenters MUST be registered for the meeting. Presenters with accepted abstracts who fail to register will not have their abstract(s) published in the abstract book and will forfeit his/her poster or oral presentation at the meeting. For those requiring acceptance notifications before registering, ISCT will allow up to two weeks after acceptance for these individuals to register.

Fees

There are no fees associated with submitting an abstract. Those presenting abstracts will be responsible for their own travel and meeting expenses.

Meeting Registration

As outlined in the guidelines, abstract presenters MUST be registered for the meeting. Presenters with accepted abstracts who fail to register will not have their abstract(s) published in the abstract book and will forfeit his/her poster or oral presentation at the meeting. For those requiring acceptance notifications before registering, ISCT will allow up to two weeks after acceptance for these individuals to register.

Publication

Accepted abstracts for those who register for the meeting will be published in a supplemental version of the Cytotherapy Journal.

Awards

To be eligible for the following awards, the applicant must be the first author and the author who will present the abstract. The following awards are open to both ISCT members and non-members:

  • $1000 Technologist Travel Award
  • $1000 Young Investigator Award
  • $1500 Best Oral Abstract Award
  • $1500 Best Poster Abstract Award
