This year, the scientific organizing committee for the 47th Annual Meeting of the Germany Society for Transfusion Medicine and Immuno-Haematology (DGTI) 2014 has put together a broadly diversified scientific program, with a particular focus on cell therapy.  

Some highlights include:

  • A satellite symposium dealing with the translation of regenerative medicines put together with the German Stem Cell Network (GSCN)
  • A public joint symposium with the Committee for Advanced Therapies (CAT) of the European Medicines Agency (EMA), DGTI and GSCN
  • Training programs for doctors, medical-technical assistants, nursing staff and surgeons
  • "Transfusion Day", which will bring together three national organizations to discuss current topics in transfusion medicine from the perspective of the participating countries (Poland, Germany and Czech Republic)
  • and more!
