The 50th Annual Meeting of the Society for Cryobiology, CRYO2013, will be held 28-31 July 2013 in the spacious facilities of the North Bethesda Marriott Hotel and Conference Center, just outside Washington, DC.
Students: The deadline for travel and other student awards has now passed.
Scientific Program: The program begins Sunday, 28 July at 8:30AM and ends Wednesday, 31 July at noon. For further details, please see the scientific program.

Monday 29 July – Poster Presentation Session and soiree
Tuesday 30 July – free afternoon with complementary bus transport to the downtown Washington, DC Mall Museum and Monument area.
Tuesday 30 July – during the free afternoon there will be a scavenger hunt through the Smithsonian Museum of Natural History organized by the International Cryobiology Young Researchers group (ICYR)– All are welcome, the young and the young at heart. Admittance will be $20, which will be collected at the Annual Meeting. Please RSVP by July 19th to Allyson Fry Davidson at email@example.com
Tuesday 30 July – CRYO2013 Banquet at the Marriott North Bethesda – commences 7:00 PM.
Venue: Information on the venue and surrounding area, with maps, can be found on the Venue page. The Marriott Hotel and Conference Center is adjacent to the Washington Metro Red Line with easy access to all places of interest in downtown DC, is close to the I-270 Technology Corridor and I- 495 (beltway), and the area is served by three major airports: Dulles International (IAD), Baltimore-Washington International (BWI) and Reagan-National (DCA).
We plan to make this a truly memorable meeting honoring the 50 glorious years of the Society, and we very much look forward to seeing you there.
