The International Society for Cellular Therapy (ISCT) is pleased to bring you the ninth issue of the ISCT NEWSFLASH, a biweekly e-news report of what’s new with ISCT. The NEWSFLASH includes updates on meetings, surveys, membership and the website.

Somatic Cell Therapy Symposium
The 6th Annual Somatic Cell Therapy Symposium was held September 25-27 in Bethesda, Maryland. This highly successful meeting boasted a record number of attendees, with over 300 delegates representing every continent.
Presentation slides from all of the sessions are now available on the ISCT website.

More Issues of Cytotherapy!
Starting in 2007, Cytotherapy will be published 8 times per year, up from the existing 6. That’s an increase of over 200 pages of coverage!
Cytotherapy is the official journal of ISCT and subscription is included in all ISCT memberships. Print issues are distributed to active members, and full-text access is available to all ISCT members.
An increase in membership dues, the first in three years, will off-set the increase in publication and mailing costs associated with the additional journal issues.
In conjunction with this publication increase, ISCT is striving to offer the most relevant, current news and information to our membership. The ISCT Newsflash was born in June of this year, and will continue to provide members with updates on meetings, events and ISCT news on a bi-weekly basis.
The new ISCT website, launched in April, is continuously being updated and expanded. Watch for major additions to the Resources pages in the next few months as we endeavor to provide an increased range of relevant information, tools and links.
